Linda K. Knupp LEWISBURG- Linda K. Knupp, 52, of Lewisburg, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at her home in Lewisburg, with her husband,
close friends, and family at her side. .
She is survived by her loving husband, Michael A. Corley of Lewisburg; mother , Verna I Knupp and sister, Donna L. Knupp, M.D., both of Pittsburgh, Pa.; father and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A.B. (Browne) Corley of Buckhannon; and numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn W. Knupp of Somerset, Pa. . Linda earned a BSSW from West Virginia University and a MSW from the University of Pittsburgh. She was a licensed clinical independent. social worker with membership in the National Association of Social Workers and the American Board of Examiners in Clinical Social Work. After 16 years, she retired from Somerset State Hospital in Somerset, Pa., to become co-director of Social Work at William Sharpe Hospital in Weston. Her recent position involved the Division of Rehabilitation Services in Lewisburg. She enjoyed the outdoors and bird watching. Services will be private.
